era is a series of black-and-white analog photograms that I started in 2022. They are made using discarded materials commonly found in daily life: single-use wrapping and packaging plastics that lose their function and value within seconds of use. Some of these images evoke organic forms, tissues, or bodies, hinting at imaging technologies and the act of revealing the essence of something hidden from our sight. The use of a material deemed worthless and disposable underscores the idea of a subject removed from the chain of productivity, while simultaneously revealing its unexpected aesthetic potential.
